Discontinued Crayola colors

Having recently gotten into Crayola colors (more than we used to be, at least), we were happy to find our mom had an old box from way back when.
She doesn't remember when she bought this set, but judging from the colors available, and the box design, I would say it was from the '60s or so. I'm sure an expert could tell us.

But the main feature was a selection of colors Crayola has retired over the years, with the exception of "Indian red"- which was renamed "chestnut" in '99 for obvious reasons.
Most of these colors are kinda redundant, but I can't understand why they would get rid of "raw umber" and "mulberry". "Blue-gray" would have been useful too.
