Mus fulguris

Yeah, I know everyone and their mom has done this, especially Pikachu. I just hadn't seen one that looked right yet. Browsing dA now, there are some much better ones out there now, but when I drew this, all of the ones I found at the time were mediocre.

There's a lot inspiration from Toshihiro Ono's interpretation of Pikachu in this- he gave Pikachu sharp predatory teeth instead of rodent teeth (claws too), which always intrigued me (and made Pikachu that much more bada**). So my version isn't quite straight-up "I put red cheeks on a mouse" like so many I've seen.

I'll probably make another attempt at this sometime.
